Cutie Bomber

Share

Talked about this on twitter. She appears in Bomberman GB 3 and acts as your motorcycle repair girl/ RnD scientist. It pains me to no end how she's wearing this pretty dress even though she's working on machinery all day. She WOULD get oil and dust on her all the time. I'm sure she has some automated tools to help with tune ups and whatnot, but to be so confident that she would never get her hands dirty at any point in the day is frankly ludicrous. You will ruin your clothes, no question about it. Even if her repairs aren't hands on, are bright yellow dresses really the attire you want to bring to your day job? It feels super unprofessional tbh. I have never walked into a Tires Plus and saw the lady at the front desk wearing a dress. Even ignoring all that, every other female Bomber wears a dress in this universe and I'm getting sick of it. mix it up a little. She essentially wears that same outfit as Lady Bomber in Super Bomberman 4 and it just feels lazy. So I was either gonna slap a lab coat on her or go full mechanic jumpsuit. I already plan to draw a character in the franchise later who has a lab coat, so the jumpsuit was what i went with. I replaced the red bow with a red head band, which then I made blue to match her eyes. I hope i'm not the only one who has put this much thought into the character after 2 and half decades of her not exisiting in anything else.
