Here's my next board design! A lil more simple this time as I want to have a mix of more detailed pieces along with some simple ones so you got one you can skate and one you can hang.

Honestly really enjoying the whole design process, I've got a lot of ideas I'm very excited to get down but first, I need to make a reference sheet for these guys so you guys can get an actual good look at them but mainly so I can decide on actual color palette. After wards, I think it'd be fun to make the characters their own pro models to show off their personality a bit more.

But the actual reason I wanted to post this was to show this off

I was so excited when I saw this come in this morning I remember talking about starting a board company I think in 9th grade and now here I am with MY ART on a skateboard; came in just in time too since the board I usually skate on started to chip lol. Slapped on the trucks and wheels from one of my other last boards on here and tried it out for a bit.

So quick review:

The grip tape isn't mob but it's not bad either it gets the job done but I fucked up the placement of the design, trying to center the characters onto the board made the grip tape uneven so it was really weird trying to cut off the loose ends from the tail

The actual design tho came out better then expected albeit a bit blurry which is my fault because I drew it on a smaller canvas and didn't feel like redrawing it.

The actual board feels so good, the shape is nice and has some really good pop to it and while I do like how the design came out, it lost a lot of saturation so its a bit more darker than it's supposed to be but to be fair, I'd say its pretty close to like pro level boards(keep in mind this is coming from someone who can't kickflip to save their life). I used the board pusher website to get this printed so I think for my next design Ima try out CCS and see if the print quality is a bit better.
