Colorful! Nice detailed description
Despite his vibrant appearance, this Posthuman is not wearing any paint or makeup at all. This is the normal color of his skin, evolved through generations of sexual selection from picky females. Inhabiting a warm, tropical environment, the most eye catching aspect of these Posthumans is the wide array of bright colors in males. Their skin gets these dazzling colors from light-scattering properties similar to those fond in Mandrils. They will use these displays to attract a female mate. When a male is aroused is colors become even more saturated to convey his willingness to mate. In spite what one would think, his coloration can be advantageous in hunting. Since all non-primate mammals are partially colorblind, the red streaks adorning him look no different to the greens of the surrounding foliage, giving them some much needed camouflage.
They even have a primitive stone age-like society. Males are typically shirtless and flaunt around decorative, baggy pants. When the patriarch passes away, the next one is elected based on who is the most colorful. Pictured here is a young male posing next to his wife. Unlike him, the ladies possesses a much more familiar skin tone. While doing most of the heavy lifting in the looks department, the males still have a preference to more "voluptuous" females, just like their Holocene forefathers.
