Adventure Awaits

Author Comments

You know when you play Metroid and you see the vast expansive map and you say "Yeah! I'm a silent powerful badass and this is my playground. Adventure!!!" That's what I wanted to convey with this one. I'm very happy with Samus herself, the Chozo statues (for the most part) and the star-scape. There are few bits that could have been better but I've worked on it for so long that I had to just finish it and move on. I did manage to learn a thing or two while working on this one so I'd consider it a success. I hope everyone likes it.

P.S. Big thank you to Jaxxy for giving me some help with the coloring techniques.

Some of the best art I've seen on newgrounds so far. Absolutely stunning composition there. Also the color choice's really great. Defnitely a favorite of mine.
I can understand that some people are not being very enthusiastic about Samus' proportions, but giving her a somewhat bulky suit's an interesting new touch.
