Wow looks great

This is spectacular. I'm almost overwhelmed by the grandeur of the royal hall's layout and the opulence of its decorations. Heck, even the signs of age and a touch of disrepair adds to the sense of a long and powerful dynasty. The statues are quite interesting especially in a "reverse-androgynous" way with male facial features yet a little more emphasis on female forms in the body; the flowing gold "robes" tied off with ribbons almost make them seem like gifts ready to bare their secrets. The huge chandelier also helps emphasize the scale.

It all makes an interesting juxtaposition where the raised dais and throne are made small from a distance, yet probably still mightily impressive close up. Perhaps it's to remind the ruler that the kingdom's power and history is much larger than any one king or queen.

Really nice take on the guards too. The style of the armor suggests more stout or "sturdy" warriors within, though at the very least those inside must be especially strong to carry the extra weight. Though it wasn't in mind when you created it, but I'd love to know what their different faceplate templates would represent. The design of their bardiches(?) also emphasizes a little extra weight to throw around. Interesting that one shows a bit of battle damage – perhaps suggesting that the kingdom rarely needs to fight, or maybe I'm just reading WAY too much into it. ;)

Anyway, awesome job on the breathtaking and haunting look into this ancient seat of power.
