I ended up watching the movie in theaters a little bit ago and thought it was outstanding. I just really love the setting and characters that were on display. Supposedly, a sequel was recently green-lit, so I'll definitely be looking forward to that.

I based the design off of the original manga and anime ova versions for the most part. It was really fun to mess around with various action poses throughout the sketching process and I very much enjoyed trying to emulate a more anime-like artistic style. Personally, I really love how the arms turned out.
