This is my response to the teaser poster for the Sonic The Hedgehog movie coming out in November of 2019. I don't like this design at all, the art lists the surface level problems I have, but there are MANY more that I have, which I could rant on about and use up all my characters available, but I'll not bother, other than simply saying that the character of Sonic has been lost, it's like looking at a normal guy in a costume with a Sonic bobble head, this brings Sonic down to more of a joke than ANYTHING ELSE in his nearly 30 years of existence... I've loved the series since I was 3, playing Sonic Heroes, which was my first ever game. Seeing Sonic's design brought down and butchered so much by Tim Miller and Paramount hurt me, on the level of an artist AND a Sonic fan. At first I was angry and couldn't even think... now I'm just disappointed at this train wreck, but still, I don't think this will kill the series, but this would be a bad first impression for movie goers who don't know anything about Sonic. Either way, I'm going to remain optimistic for the future of Sonic, ignoring this movie.
