For this I wanted to do a different style from the original and decrease some of the complex elements by changing the placement of the wings, less like an actual spaceship and more like a ship/ mech/ bug. The wings were changed, the yellow sections are used to capture your attention, I put a thruster on the back, with the back thruster being given a closing and opening plate while the wings are given a retraction element, the guns on the two hands are voids.

I gave a thruster on the bottom/ pushed further back, the middle section connection for everything are pipes, the head was made smaller from being a 2 head height to a 3 head height, for those of you who don't know, making the body size more realistic when changing the head to body ratio.

I gave a side radio antenna to have some bug/ tech infused element with instead opting for a single receiver based system that's tech based instead of bug based.

This leans more on the tech side than bug side for the given creature in design.

I added blue round sections on the body to help show the areas for what is further back and to show a size of scale for the back thruster being HUGE.
