Since the day she was born, she wanted to explore to see the entire world. But her father, who was the king and ruler of the Nebula Ocean, forbid her to explore because it was too 'dangerous' and didn't want anything bad happen to her. Aqualine kept wondering why her father refused to let her explore until he told her the problem.

When she was just a baby, Aqualine's mother, who was the queen and also the ruler of the Nebula Ocean, was killed by the king's nemesis while trying to protect Aqualine. Despite her father's warning, she tried to explore outside the castle, and encountered the king's nemesis and the one who killed the queen...Poseidon.

As Poseidon tried to kill her, her father rescued Aqualine just in time before Poseidon would lay a claw on her. Aqualine knew she was in deep trouble for disobeying her father. But, somehow...her father was still a little upset with her for disobeying him...he finally allowed her to explore the world...but, as long as she's still safe...just before Aqualine would leave, her father gives her a necklace that used to belong to her mother.

As Aqualine swims up to Galaxy Beach and explores Galatopia, she meets a Triceratops, named Trika, who slowly becomes her close friend.
