last night the official dragonball twitter account made a post stating that akira toriyama passed away due to a subdural hematoma.
it's an understatement to say that he left a huge impact on the world, and inspired many.
his work brought joy to many across the world.
he was a great artist.
he inspired me alot both as an artist and as a storyteller. whenever I watched dragonball I felt inspired to create. back when I was watching through the series last year I made so many concepts and scripts all because of it.
thank you akira toriyama.
rest in peace.

i didn't watch dragon ball alot, but i could imagine the impact he left on the art world. i'm not sure those artists i really like would've been here without him.

yeah, dragonball inspired alot of people to start drawing. it's not what made me start but it definitely had an impact.
