The sky rumbled as suns collided. The land taken by the lights of splendor I birthed into being, but so too did the entity, the welp, the insolent one that dared to remain; even as I decreed it end.

‘He’s toying with you,’ the false one spoke, the voice that should not be, the lie that should be gone. ‘Burning out the elixir, flee, flee.’ The voice cried.

A flick of my will, and it was hushed, crushed, removed from the greatness of my being.

‘Flee,’ the voice came again, weak, pitiful, but there.

How?

A question of doubt, something below my greatness, I discarded it.

Digging deeper into my being, flexing my will, the sky was blest with more of my light.

the insolent one did the same.

‘You should listen to the real you.’ The insolent spoke, and summoned forth more of its own suns, double the amount of my own.

Willing, and decreeing, I shifted through the air, dodging all sent to touch my perfect form.

“I will take back the tongued given to you for that.” I roared, pulling upon the source of myself.

The greatness of my glow, the purity of my will took hold, and the vessel of flesh I allowed myself to be caged in shifted.

‘STOP, STOP!’ The lie screamed, the voice growing louder. ‘You’re burning through it all.’

Again, I removed the voice.

‘You promised yourself so much,’ the insolent said, casually manifesting more suns. ‘Spun such whimsical lies.’

“Silence!” I screamed, will hammering upon the realm, forcing it to bend. Sound died; the realm went mute.

But the entity, the Insolent, dared speak, and smack aside my decree.

I ALLOWED IT.

‘Let us see how long your delusions last, before it all falls away, lost soul.’
