My laugh rumbled the air, my might birthed a second sun.

“You thought to keep from me what is mine?”

The welp refused to answer, to show respect, he instead reached for power not his own.

“My trinkets won’t save you; you are pitiful, your will weak, your form a lie.”

I threw my sun, a testament to my will, to my truth, it caused the false one within me to cry out

‘The Cores! The Cores, I can’t make more elixirs without them.’

“They will survive, for I demand it.” I informed the voice that should be gone.

Focusing, while the sun expanded, consuming the welp and the meaningless constructs of stone, I reached out, protecti-

“You Dare!?” The realm shivered, another force pulling on creation’s strings, my strings. It attempted to refute my claim, to have the cores be consumed by my glorious might.

Laughing, and forming another sun; “This realm belongs to me.” I turned my focus upward. There high up, a being looked down from above. Willing, demanding, the sun raced towards the hidden portal, to which the entity was looking through.

‘Insolence.’ the entity said, the sun vanishing before it could reach its mark.

“I couldn’t agree more,” I said, will blooming, realm shivering.

Hand reaching out, will going forth, the portal shattered, the realm beyond revealed.

A beam of light shot down, its intent clear and laughable, a wave of my decree and it bent around me, searing the area. “Pathetic, and cowardly. Come forth and face the greatness that is I.”

The shattered portal, the tear, widened, a being of light and gold plunged through.

The false one within cowered, whispering, begging I flee, ME, flee.

I laughed, the realm wailed, the entity raged.

“This realm is mine.” I voiced, charging forth towards the usurper. “Everything, everyone, EVEN YOU, are mine.”
