"Lavine is a Cryomancer, much like how Blaze is a Pyromancer. Guardians in the Sol Dimension are important positions of leadership, with one for each of the three Magical Elements. Lightning, Fire, and Ice. The position of Guardian of Fire goes to the recently-crowned Blaze the Cat, the position of Guardian of Lightning goes to somebody i didn't write yet, and the position of Guardian of Ice goes to old and wise Wulfric the Stag. However, Wulfric has been growing more and more ill, due to his advanced age, something that causes great stress to his nephew, Lavine. Lavine is his protegé and heir to the title of Guardian of Ice. However, despite being heralded as a prodigy in early age, her advancement of her skill has drastically lagged since, resulting in her having very little control of her power, being able to only consistently summon forth frail shards of ice that are little better than pelting her foes with rocks. This causes her to both dread the day that she might have to eventually step up to her role as guardian despite being dramatically unprepared for it.

In personality, she's reserved, but warm and charismatic in social situations. She has a keen ability to read those whom she talks with, allowing her to bring out even the shiest wallflower from out of their shell, and comfort even the most distraught person. Though outwardly kindly and helpful, her lack of control over her powers foster a darker side of her personality, one prone to bouts of jealousy over the talents of others, and a tempestuous temper that can easily cause her powers to go wild and manifest in truly destructive ways. This causes her to become a somewhat overly agreeable person, as there is little she fears more than herself, were she to lose control in an inopportune moment.

Though she used to be a childhood friend with Blaze, their relationship grew strained over time, due to Blaze's increasing dedication to her role, as well as Lavine's growing jealousy over Blaze's mastery over her talents."
