The background seems like a real photograph but with some filters and little sparks of your own, but probably for good reason; It makes the character stand out much more, and her overall design looks cartoony and 'magical'. Looks amazing.

If you redo the one that don't hold up please post them along side the originals, it'd be a nice thing to see, I like seeing how much art styles evolve
