As you see here are two well-known characters together in an advert. This time in a grey tone, as the colours have faded away. I was just trying something new.
My thought about the illustration. Is that sound like one of those 1950s advertisements/ sitcoms; that has a hint of a dark twist? Willingly or unwillingly, Moxxie gets dressed up as a housewife by Niffty. I get the vibe, and it is just the two characters.
I also meant to attach a mini-comic, but that would have been submitted next time. The same goes for rough sketches, thumbnails, and designs. For now, here is the complete piece, it is a post-impressionism of a 50s advertisement.
What is the advertising is eggs, but it is a fictional advertisement. The only thing that disappointed me other than the days on completing this illustration. Is that of the background, just a sign with brush strokes. I could have done more, but it doesn't matter.
Here is the rough pencilling draft of Moxxie & Niffty. There were some changes of course.
This was from an example of a 1950s magazine advertisement, which I've chosen.
Moxxie as a 1950s Housewife
Niffty as 1950s Nurse
*Warning:
The following of this advertisement doesn't help keep temptations away. Especially if you’ve eaten or drank the egg(s), no matter how much the consumer or consumers has digested. Also, the model wasn’t harmed when this advert was first made. The member of the Hazbin Hotel has picked the model and he willingly (sort of) agreed to this advertisement. The hotel member of staff had nothing to do with the drugging, gagging, or kidnapping… So yes, this has nothing to do with the Hazbin Hotel or IMP. This was just a harmless hint of 1950s nostalgia.
