Heyo!

This is the first time I actually post an art project that I've done here. This is a character I came up with called 'No Clothes Johnny' for a fairytale I had in mind under the same name about a poor Irish potato farmer that has no other nice clothes to wear besides a dirty warn out tank top ripped jeans, and his not so lucky lucky green cap, and is so poor that he can't even buy new clothes. Because of this struggle, No Clothes Johnny is pretty much depressed most of the time (the only "exception is when he's drunk but does that really count here?)

But my inspiration for this character is not so dark as you may think. I actually came up with No Clothes Johnny after a 4th of July vacation memory I remember back in 2019. Me and my family and friends were on a boat ride, and one of my family friends was riding the boat, except He was rocking the boat back and forth causing the water from the bayside to get in the boat. When the water got inside, my family friend's brother named John was panicking over his clothes getting all wet (hence where the inspiration for the name No Clothes Johnny), As I look back at that memory, I just found it pretty funny how my family friend's brother was freaking out over his clothes getting wet, and I thought It would be funnier if I made a fairytale story based around the whole event with how John probably wouldn't have any clothes to change into after the boat ride.
