A lonesome soldier of fortune, who buries himself in mercenary work to hide from his tortured past. He is known by multiple aliases: "The Dragonslayer", "Runo of the Iron Hand", "Giant's Knife", etc. Runo commands the Bahamut, a massive airship, bearing the shape of a dragon.
