Unwittingly, this illustration makes me think of Genji from Overwatch as a Patlabor mecha.

Went ahead and finished up this MS design; i had started it back in October but i got bored with it lol
this was HEAVILY inspired by Xenogears mecha designer Junya Ishigaki's work if it wasn't obvious

I was actually inspired by V Gundam's design language so you're not entirely wrong lol
I guess it helps that Ishigaki did work on a couple of 90's Gundam series, like X and Victory i believe
Hey at least its better than the RGE-B790 Genoace which has a heat stick and beam spray gun thats as powerful as a kiddie water gun
