This path is treacherous
Many would call it foolish
I shall walk it full of vigor
For I know it is right
I will tread through blood and ichor
Lost allies and forgotten dreams
Cast aside all these feelings my heart leads me to
For the path that calls my soul
I pray to keep walking
Even when knee high in blood
Even when my body cannot go on
When my mind tears me asunder
When my tears and blood mingle
Leaving footprints muddled behind
I will walk and walk
This path marked by blood and tears
Until I rest
A path well walked
