[Theme Park Inspired] Spiderdust

Share

Listen to "Spiderdust" by Bel Canto

She lived in limbo... Time showed no mercy... 'Til a man in gray gave her doses of sweet poison...

This artwork was inspired by both the above song and Alton Towers' rollercoaster The Smiler and its very extensive marketing campaign.

I kinda like the look of the piece - using exclusively shades of the ride's color scheme, plus bright purple for whatever chemical she's mixing, really brought out a dark and dramatic feel.

Nice artwork bro!

Thetageist responds:

Thank you!

I like the artstyle of the character and the composition of this piece, the color combination is interesting as well just as the spatter effects on the left and right which add some kind of symmetry to the work.

Thetageist responds:

Thank you so much! I had fun with the splats :)

Its absolutely your best art ! :)

And respect for awesome logo 😏

Thetageist responds:

Oh, thank you! Honestly, I had no clue that this piece, of all the ones I've posted, would get so much attention! And thank you about the logo. I love designing logos - maybe I should post more of my logo designs to Newgrounds.

Thetageist responds:
