The Intense Gangster

The Intense Gangster features a dark portrait of a monstrous man in a blackened bowler hat.

A shady character by nature, the crook has been caught "Red-Handed" as the figure of speech has been phrased. His hand is either covered in the blood of innocents...Or covered in his own! And he is either smoking a cigar or stumbling from a wound to his blackened heart.

This is what is known thus far about this unknown infamous man.

It has a combined art style of cubism, expressionism, and surrealism. I call it Cubo-expressionist style, where its colors are bright, and there are multiple ways of looking at the figure from different perspectives at different places in time. It's supposed to be of a 1940s gangster, the "red hand" is a metaphor for the washed-up criminal being caught 'red handed'. It also represents both him being shot and being wounded, and him attacking a man, and the blood is from another man.

He's supposed to be both shrieking from the sight of being caught, and falling backward at the same time, hence the smoke trail's direction in several ways. The background is supposed to reflect an old black and white newspaper, making him the center of the headlines.

I hid many secrets in it----on the left yellow ear (its supposed to represent a 'rotten banana' for his rotten persona) you have to squint to see it, and the pic doesn't do it justice, but I did a pointillist word in dots, the word "WAR" was done there, you may have to tilt your phone when looking at it, and you'll see

I often write the word WAR somewhere in all of my artworks, and war is also on the cigar as well. His mouth has that sort of Darth Vader face mask look indicating that if he were to speak, he'd most likely have a rough voice.
