this took me a bit to make

at least 7 hours or so? i forget

but, i spent a lot of time on this so i could see how i started out this year and where i'll end up end of this year

i'm hoping i can improve a lot this year, especially in things I'm not the best at currently, like animation and music

have this gif of the paintover i did also

yes i removed some details shhh i literally painted over the sketch on one layer

tbh, the gif might look a little better with fades from one image to the other. I recently took some images and used a free video editor called climp champ to fade the images from one to the next. Then the video was exported to high def video. Then I used a free browser gif app to convert from HD to gif because the video program only exported low res looking gifs, sad face. The effect looked great with all those steps though.

That aside, the drawings are super cute, super colorful, and the perspective rocks. Beautiful work elikapika :D

midway through sketching it i thought of that too, but i really like graudation and murakami's work in general, so i mostly took like inspiration from it

hopefully it can stand on its own lol
