I wanted to try something more intricate and detailed than my average piece. It was a slow start for sure but I had a good time creating this, and I definitely will be doing it again. I feel through the development of this piece I've really progressed as an artist, especially considering the direction I've been taking with my work lately. I feel much more free to go with different concepts and ideas that I wouldn't have considered even just a few months ago when I considered myself strictly an OC artist and before I started diving more into the realm of visionary illustration, astral projection, and psychedelic art.
