Happy First Day of Summer, everybody!

For this picture, I decided to do a loving tip of the hat to Girls' Last Tour. It's a post-apocalyptic anime about two girls, Chito and Yuuri, who travel around in a small military vehicle across the ruins of various civilizations. Rather somber slice-of-life. This pic references the episode where in their travels they find this pipe full of hot water--something of value that they don't frequently come across. Once they shoot it open, they look for a giant pipe and use it to collect the water and make a hot bath for themselves. I've been running with a hot springs theme as of late and this came to mind as a perfect quickie to ring in the summer season; this picture took a little less than 4 hours of straight work to complete.

Anyways, it's a good series. Check it out sometime. If you like a slow-paced anime that focuses on the characters trying to make sense of the world around them, I'd really give it a watch.
