Relevant Mastodon post (has the CRT filter version and the OG take)

So, I was looking through my archives to help cheer up a newbie pixel artist, I shared the og, but after just staring at it for a few minutes, I got annoyed, incredibly annoyed in fact. In order to satiate my irritation at this old and ugly bitcrush, I decided to invest pretty much half of my day rebuilding the sprite from scratch, only saving 75% of the skeleton of the og in the process (because my ref for the og went POOF). I have to say, this looks so much better and now I am proud to have redone a piece from 3 years ago.
