this is my entry for draw with jazza's b-myoasis contest. (wip link is at the bottom)

this world or my oasis is a world to relax get away from the stress of reality and enjoy a peaceful fantasy world and also a place where you can draw in peace or play around with various instruments without the risk of ever bugging anyone and this world also exists as a place where you can experiment and build without the limitations of money or tools essentially this is a world to relax unwind and experiment (it also happens to be my introvert dream world)

the blue dots are fairys (inspired by the fairys in TLOZ ocarina of time)

the green glow is supposed to be an aurora but honestly it looks more like some kind of nebula but whatever this is a fantasy world anything is possible

all parts of this image are original (aka this is not fan art of anything)

also i will note that because of the low resolution this image is best viewed on a small screen

i don't really care about winning because honestly somebody else probably needs the prizes more than i do and also the reason i made this was hey i like the theme so if it motivates me to do something why not i can't lose anything because i still gain the experience from making the entry so there is no reason for me to not enter and i like the theme so why not
and also on the subject of winning honestly if you expect to win your just setting yourself up to be dissapointed while if you expect to lose you might get a nice surprise

i will say that this image is very newbie and i did take some shortcuts to make things easier which i will list right here

hiding my crappy leaf texture under darkness instead of trying to make it better
very very low resolution (96x64)
more blur tool (technically called the jumble tool but it works as a blur tool)
lazy character pose (i did a pose i did before and i hid the legs and also angled in a way so i didn't need to draw a face also its a pose i've done before)

maybe i am just being hard on myself but i did take a lot of shortcuts (especially for pixel art)
though tbh this is modern digital art at pixel resolution not actual retro art being that i used things only possible on a new computer.

i will also say that because i don't really care about winning i went a bit more experimental and tried sticking to one base colour palette and i experimented with focal points by keeping the aurora and character lighter than the rest of the image.
