Just before Independence Day had passed in the United States, I completed this painting to truly celebrate the Holiday! After completing this type of Painting for three years, it is no longer too cumbersome to portray the Star-Spangled Banner. Additionally, the yellow streak near the "Field under the Moon" part of Kaguya's sleeve is not an error: it is meant to imply the field rebounding from its cut-off when looking at Kaguya from behind. As for why I have bothered to keep up with this tradition, it is due to me being very attached to the country I was born in and what it had traditionally stood for. Granted, America had not been on the best track for a while, but I could love no other country.
