This is my first time using watercolor and I'm so proud of myself for managing to get something decent! I'm also really proud cause I didn't use a reference for anything but Grumpy Cat and it somehow looks pretty okay, anatomy wise and the head at the bottom left looks like a head and not like a brown blob so I'll count that as a win :D
On a side-note, just in case you didn't understand, that square thing in the alien's head is a screen because I figured that the cat has to see somehow and it's too high to see through the eyes. Lastly, the square next to the screen is a banner that writes "People Suck! So wipe them off the planet!!" I wanted to add an "Adopt Your Alien Today!" but it felt stuffed and you wouldn't be able to see it anyways.
Overall I'm really happy with how this turned out :) It was a fun learning process. I need to go buy some watercolor paints now.
