Soon enough, after escaping the facility, #007 dedicates all his efforts to make sure #01 can live a normal life :)
He still takes part in illegal fights underground, to pay for her private school, as he knows how much she is capable of;
#007 tells her they have to both hide their identity to never be found again, so she accepts to never ever use her ability again in public, and #007 kept his hair long now.
In this painting #007 is showing #01 what fireflies look like, (yes, they are still mentally connected and they share every thought, memory, feeling,sight etc.) but seeing and remembering are two complete different things ^^
She stares at them and wishes she could fly freely like them (eventually #01 will master her telekinesis to the point she can make herself levitate).

I realise this characters' design has changed a lot since I first created them, and you probably wonder why 007 looks the way he does (I kinda have 10 drawings related to that, which I was supposed to publish before this one, but didn't get the time to finish, they are sort of huge - about 5000x7000 - so that's why they are not out yet ^^)
