The yungrel are a species of merchants, traders, and entrepreneurs who strive to make the galaxy happy through profit. They believe that a stable economy leads to a universe full of infinite possibility and opportunity, and they strive to make the best of it. As most are not combatants, they are usually protected by mercenary fleets. The yungrel serve the Federation of United Stars as maintainers of the alliance's credit economy, and they have made record profits of both aiding the council and their own business. Though most cannot fight, they have a knack of engineering machinery that can do most of the fighting for them.
