Diet: Carnivore
Habitat: Deep forests
Noxicrods are quadrupedal insects about the size of a small bush. They are territorial of their surroundings, and many creatures give a wide berth. Noxicrods are known for their tails, which are equipped with an organ that can spit out a type of toxin that can cause lasting burns, pain, and limb numbness, which allows them to hunt for prey. Because of this, noxicrods are ambush hunters, preferring to use their acidic tails as both a hunting tool and a defense mechanism.
