A species I made a few years ago called a "Dahlia W0rm".
It's a parasitic demon that starts off as the sixe of a slug, burrows itself into people's skulls and possesses them, slowly devours the host from the inside out, then hatches fromt heir skull >_>
They can grow tot he size of a horse, and when they develope front legs they will start off by hunting small children, animals and then work their way to up to grown human adults or livestock.

Females lay egg clutches and are very protective of their young, they grow larger than males too. They cna lay up to 40 eggs a clutch.
