Been designing some “iconics” a la Pathfinder for the tabletop I’ve been working on. I decided having example characters like this would help to communicate the sort of characters and stories I want the system to support, as well as giving it some concrete identities to work with.
A lot of people I’ve talked to that play rogues or other stealthy classes apparently either don’t use or don’t get the opportunity to use skills like lockpicking, disarming traps, climbing, scouting, or picking pockets, and honestly that’s a shame. Being sneaky isn’t all just for 25x backstab criticals :(
Berserker - Extremely strong fighter that can go into a battle trance and shrug off blows
Crusader - Charismatic warrior that fights for an authority above men and kings
Minstrel - Witty musician and magician that keeps her allies in high spirits
Burglar - A skilled spy and thief with keen eyes and sticky fingers
