Atsuko’s father Fujitora "Fuji" Yamamoto Blake, an employed architect, is a descendent of a wandering female samurai (or ronin) and a young Japanese emperor, while her mother Kokoro “Koko” Fujiko Blake (nee Young), a fashion designer, is a descendent of a female ninja (or shinobi) mercenary.
