The first of a three-part study based on characters from I Hate Fairyland in tribute to ProtonJon's RosaJon character. This first one, Queen Nebula is based on Queen Cloudia, the main antagonist of the story. Just as Cloudia puts up a facade of cheeriness and hope for visitors of Fairyland, Nebula does just the same to visitors of her land- her patience near-boundless while she questions whether her role as Queen is all she truly desires... or if she hungers for something more than the mortal plane she's stuck in.

I jotted the idea for this character down a year ago and forgot about it until recently. I was originally going to do just her, but the more I read, the more girls I found that would work wonderfully for Alt Jons as well!

The techniques I had to use for this drawing remind me of when I first started using Procreate. So many little lines and so, SO much tedium... I am proud of the final result, though. The galaxy-swirl for hair was a lot of work to get just right, but a lot of fun.
