So I've been reading the old Gremlins script by Chris Columbus (well, the 2nd draft that is. Here it is http://www.horrorlair.com/movies/scripts/Gremlins(Early).pdf  )

and I got inspired by it and of course Mark Walas' sketches and prototypes.

You know, with a little polish and more dark humor, I can totally see this different R-rated iteration work and stand along with the masterful duology we got courtesy of Joe Dante ! Hell, it might actually surprise people and anger them due to how mean-spirited it is... AND I AM ALL FOR IT ! Gremlins IS mean-spirited and deliciously twisted and this would be Little Shop Of Horrors levels of nasty ! So of course, they give us a fucking cartoon that's as sanitized as can be... motherfuckers.

Anyway, the Mogwai itself is just a rounder version of Mark Walas' prototype while the Gremlin is a mix of Mohawk from the 2nd movie (I hesitate to add the crest...maybe in refinement) and the details that are in the script. Hope you enjoy !
