The Chucky E. Cheese Robo Star, as they called it was an astonishing advancement in terms of engineering and for animatronics, as a whole. Chucky E. Cheese invented this animatronic around 2022 in hopes of bringing people back to all their owned buildings. The company was in a bad place, no one liked the guy in the costume dancing every hour. People wanted the animatronics back and Chucky E. Cheese listened. When they announced the new animatronic it was all over the news. No one had ever done something like this, and it was revolutionary, although some people thought it was a bad idea and what I’m about to tell you is they’re right. 

The animatronic or Robo Star had amazing capabilities that helped the company grow and work as a whole. The Chucky Cheese animatronic was able to walk around the building hanging out with kids and was also able to serve food to people. The animatronic had a huge open space inside of it that would hold the food and it would open when finally serving it to people. Chucky would also dance on the dance floor every hour with the kids. Lastly, Chucky would make sure there wasn’t any trash lying on the floor. The animatronic would pick up the trash and put it in its mouth where it would then go into a garbage bag in its back. It was quite an interesting design feature to have. All these cool things Chucky did were amazing but it was what also led to the deaths that ended Chucky E. Cheese’s career. 

It all started with the incident that happened towards the end of 2022. Chucky was dancing with the kids. Well, one of the kids happened to get too close to the animatronic and the child’s head was forcefully smashed by the 240lb animatronic. There was a lawsuit, but Chucky E. Cheese said it was the adult’s fault for not watching their child while near the animatronic.

The company was lucky to escape that lawsuit like they did but it wasn’t the last incident. It was 2023 that did it. Chucky was picking up trash found around the building. Well, one of the problems is if the animatronic eyes aren’t cleaned enough the sensors don’t work to its full compacity. The tragedy began when a child walked toward Chucky and gave him a hug. This is when Chucky’s sensors weren’t working properly and took the kid for trash that was on the floor. According to one of the witnesses, Chucky grabbed the child by the head with both hands and put it inside his mouth. You could hear the child’s screams just as loud as you could hear the animatronic struggling to close its mouth. Finally, the child’s skull gave out and was crushed like a watermelon. Blood was everywhere and Chucky stopped moving and shorted out due to all the blood. After a while, the weight of the child’s body was too much for his neck and his body was torn from the rest of his head. After this terrible event, Chucky E. Cheese was sued and filed for bankruptcy.
