Wow! This, this is awesome storytelling! And the art is so good too. That Riso look is just wonderful. I found myself wanting to turn the page quickly to read more and more, but the art kept me from going too fast with all the detail. The ending was satifying af. This is really your best work so far. Thank you so much for entering the contest!

This reminds me of old comic books like Amazing Adult Fantasy, with a ending twist that screws over the main character. I loved the story and the horror in it. @vlsrb talked about “your colors to convey a specific mood.”, and I didn’t know why I didn’t see that at first. Great comic and a great way to give kids nightmares.

Loved it, only real nit pick is that the ending where the main character takes the trees place after he chops the tree down was cool, I find it hard to believe all previous people in this trick ALSO chopped down the previous tree. Guess it depends how long this has been going on for. Other than that it was great, has a weird children's book feel.

I really like the cover and drawing, looks a fun read. Congratulations on publishing comics that’s fantastic, I wouldn’t mind trying a comic myself. Very happy for you.
