I like that you used horror to express/illustrate how you felt about your health. I really hope you’re doing better.
Also, how’d I not see this when it was front paged?
Arteriovenous Malformation, or AVM for short obstructs your way. Your sense of sight feels off, yet you can "see" everything. Or can you? There seems to be a blind spot... Maybe?

I got diagnosed with this thing mid-january and it wasn't a fun moment, to be perfectly honest. I don't mind it as much now since it's not a big deal (extremely small chance of it getting worse, doesn't impact my day to day life, etc.) but it means I'll have to live with a slight visual "blur"/shimmer for at least a good while since getting rid of it would most likely mean getting rid of my left eye's sense of sight (best thing I could compare it to would be a very tiny and localised "visual tinnitus" in the sense that you only really start noticing it if you pay attention to it, but it's always there).
This piece started as a fun "goat with lotsa eyes and 3D veins" idea, but it very recently morphed into a representation of the malformation itself, kinda like the cyst piece
There also are a bunch of small details I'm really happy with, like all the subpixelling on the main character, a small cleanup step to take out some noise added by the blender rendering (mainly at the very bottom of the piece. I didn't clean all of it up, but I cleaned up some which I usually don't do) and the cleaned up sine wave leg tendrils which were animated once by offsetting them each frame by x amount of pixels and then manually touched up to look better, so all and all, a good amount of effort went into this.

Thank you!!!
I thankfully am doing way better than I was back in march, even if that AVM is still there, ahaha. At the very least, it allowed me to make a 3D model of my brain for another piece!
Damn, I can appreciate that you can make light of your own condition by portraying it in art form.
rad af

Looks really cool. Sorry about the backstory, hope things go well.
