While not the most impressive piece what I do think is that you have a style and aesthetic that works for you.

What's interesting to me is that the alt counter culture aesthetic which, I'm guessing is either emo or punk does work in your case and I feel like you understand light sources and have some sense of form and shape. Plus the zombie stitches are a nice touch. That's where you have strength in your work.

However, where you are struggling is how you're going about making the shading cohesive enough, utilizing color theory effectively and unifying the design of the character. The line work in the hair is a distraction because of the white pixels that are surrounding the line work on the inside of it. I get what you are trying to do but I feel like it would have been more effective to get rid of the lines on the black side of the hair and making the colors separate from the linework on the layers.

The other thing I would suggest looking into are people such as Andrew Loomis, Burnes Hogarth, and Alan Peck. Those artists have written books on anatomy that will apply even with something cartoony. Understand the realism before doing something stylized and your work will end up being more kick-ass.

This isn't to say that it is bad, but it's not exactly good either. I wanted to give you some more in depth feedback because I can see that something really is there with your work. And more often than not for every 100 pieces you make that you might not be proud of, you'll have one good one that will serve you in the long run as long as you are willing to learn from your own work.

Keep going. You're off to a good start and I want to encourage you to keep going.
But you have to focus on those fundamentals. We all struggled with that when we first started out.
