One of my most popular pieces. This piece features many things. Though it does not show my personal feelings towards the entertainment world, I thought it would be a cool graphic to depict if Hollywood became all-powerful. For one, the 5-jet flyby is showing a sort of controlling military power. The two Oscar awards on both sides indicate a sense of world-control through entertainment. The televisions both depict the drama masks, one sad, one happy. The background in these is a strip of palm trees with sand and sky. These TVs are cracked as if showing some kind of corruption through entertainment. The bottom portion features an outline of the Hollywood sign, filled with black and a kind of firework design. The background of this portion is the "lost signal" screen, AKA those colored bars that appear when your signal is lost. The main focus is a roaring grizzly bear with angry red eyes. This, for some reason, throws people off and they ask what it represents. If you haven't noticed, in the center of California's flag, there is a grizzly bear. The evil appearance is shown to emphasize the ferocity of the "controlling entertainment world."
