A bit of a break from the Pokemon-posting, here's something I was workshopping for awhile:

Back in the day when I posted on Deviantart, I made some wack, awful gemsonas in the early, early days of Steven Universe. Not only was I a child, and were they bad, they ended up not even fitting what would come to be the lore of the show.

As of lately, I'd begun rewatching the show with some friends for a trip down memory lane, and it inspired me to right this wrong of my past. Introducing...

★ (Cat's Eye) Diopside! ★

She joined the Rebellion at the very end of the war through sheer happenstance, and fits in with all the other cat-related things in the series. Her arc is about her becoming more reliable and learning that it's always worth actually trying, or something!

I even threw in all her regenerations, and a rough height comparison!

I hope to do some rough sketches of her in the near future using episodes as prompts.
