Xell varieties

Share

The Xell aren't just Purple, Some have Blue, Pink or even Red skin.

Purple is Typically the most common skin color among the Xell and Red is much more rare with Blue and pink in between

(in order from most common to least common)

While the Xell have harnessed the power of electricity longer compared to other species, such as Humans, they remain developmentally behind in other ways, being more "tribal" with hand made clothes made of hide and leather and simple brick and leather homes due to the planet having constant lightning storms that strike often keeping advancement to a minimum (Xalyn's attire and weapons here are not from her home planet as she is working as a bounty hunter within the Sun System, I didn't see the point in redrawing her for the sake of this scene or just making a random purple Xell tho. so it's just showing you how different they are back home compared to her)

Something I just noticed while taking another look at this piece:

So if the Xell all dress in more "tribal" clothes, does that mean the outfit you drew Xalyn in ages ago (which was her in Galva clothing) is retconned?
Or am I just confusing myself?

Dar-K-NG responds:

Yes that's been entirely retconned. I admit I just wanted to make an alternative outfit more then I wanted to actually build the species or lore at that time, it just no longer works with what the Xell are being fleshed out to be, as a sort of Cave-punk species.
most older info has been changed or updated by now as I craft the world.
