the forsaken warrior was once a great warrior of peace and justice. when fighting his greatest enemy the sorcerer Drakus the Man-slayer he was tricked into wearing a great steel mask which cursed him be forever trapped in his suit of armor and be the guard of the evil sorcerer who ensnared him.
