Big Ann and Sweet Al

Share

Sweet Ann's vocal capabilities sometimes fascinate me a lot more than her "Husband of Frankenstein" Big Al...

For one, in spite of her Australian accent quirks and the datedness of her voicebank (originally developed for the 2004 Vocaloid engine but released for Vocaloid 2), she sounds comparable, if not superior, to modern-day Vocaloid voicebanks if given the proper tuning and post-processing. Not to mention she can hit a wicked contralto! She refuses to be overpowered by the big lug, even at her raw state, so they were certainly made for each other.

That doesn't mean I personally can't have a bit of fun reversing some dynamics and making her the true 9-foot Queen of the Monsters! He certainly likes it, anyway. >;)

Consider this a slightly saucy concept art towards a future CupcakeRedux of Sweet Ann. The outfit, hairdo, and makeup aren't final, but I think silver and blue suit her somewhat. This could maybe be an additional module to her wardrobe.
