If the costume were to be damaged to a breaking point or if Mimikeko suffered from starvation, Mimikeko would reveal its dark, terrifying form. People who spot this form become so stunned, that they're frozen, or never saw the light of day again.

Sightings of this form were documented in a series of ghost stories regarding this form of Mimikeko, one of them being about a Morpeko who became so starved that they changed form and lost their original appearance. Whether this is true is rather unknown to scientists and individuals alone.
