A hardworking scientist, Sandy was once a troubled teen who had a speciality in science and biology, despite the Genetic Order declaring her a "runner", who ended up being one of the people to find the Zingo Galaxy a new home. She may look soft and sweet, but she's determined and fiery, and can snap out at anyone who insults her. For some time she was friends with Ren, who attended the same classes she did, and would defend him at the Academy from bullies, until eventually the friendship developed into romance. In fact, by the conclusion of the Battle of the Oppozone, Sandy and Ren were in a relationship - with them both being fluffy, rebellious and independent.  Due to her rebellious and conspiratorial nature, Sandy was one of the first students to discover the shady inner workings of the Genetic Order, realising that lacking students were being taken and morphed to better fit with their selected classes.

Nearly a decade later, the much older Ren and Sandy (alongside a cast of unexpected friends who snuck on their ship) would make one last trek across the galaxy, preserving ancient artefacts and helping those unable or unwilling to live aboard the Final Light ark. During their 18 month journey, Sandy would give birth to Ren’s son - but because she was in a hurry, Sandy named her son.. Bandy. Bandy would go on to become an accountant.. while Sandy would go on to become a famous scientist and philosopher.
