Diplomatic, fair and a believer of freedom and justice, Lu Debrina was one of the few most prominent human figures in the Zingo Galaxy, being one of the pilots who found a new home for her ship - another universe - and eventually becoming the Final Light ark’s first human Senator. Within her friend group, Lu acted as the more mature, levelheaded one, especially in contrast to her roommate and best friend, Ren Flagwas, whose more brash and rebellious nature made the two a peculiar duo. 

Being one of the few dozens of human embryos taken from a delapitated Earth, Lu was especially curious about her species' forgotten legacy, especially after having grown up hearing the senior human Flint's stories. Unbeknownst to Lu, her origins were way darker than her fellow superhumans, as she was the specialised clone of one of the last human super spies on Earth, Dianne McKaine, created from the woman’s lifeless body by mad scientist David Steele, in order to lead a new generation of humans. Lu was unaware of this all her life until venturing into the strange pocket dimension, the Oppozone, upon which the girl experienced a severe existential crisis only calmed by channelling her emotions and finding inner peace.

Lu is also noticeable for being the third recorded psychic human in Zingonian history, after her mentor figure Betty Brimley, and her father Richard Brimley. During her adventures in the Oppozone, Lu would be bitten by one of the residents, an ethereal alien called a Moglix, resulting in Lu gaining telepathic and healing powers using her mutated heart.

Upon finding inner peace and fully controlling her Oppozone-exclusive powers, Lu aided the Final Light ark in the battle against the evil Moglix, Maximus Rex, who tried to take control of the generation ship to act as their tyrannical god; and 10 years later, Lu would become the first human Senator onboard the ark, her wisdom and courage being very much needed after two terms of mostly incompetent, malicious or insecure ones.
