Son of former superspy, the Zingoneer Zapper Firewing, Blitzo Firewing flies into the spotlight, eager to take on anything! (as long as it doesn’t hurt his ego) Arrogant and slightly egotistical, the young aerosaur won’t let anyone get in his way to be the very best, like no one ever was..

However, someone else also had that goal, and therefore butted heads with Blitzo. That person was the new space cadet Ren, a ruffian from the streets taken into the prestigious space academy Galactrian Academy by the Senators. Not wanting someone to take all the attention from him, Blitzo became Ren's (albeit self proclaimed) rival, and would bully and tease the lil guy like your typical shonen rival. However, their rivalry would become too extreme, when the two got into a heated brawl, resulting in them both being kicked from the academy for a week.

Now having his ego destroyed, Blitzo took the time off school to realise how much of a douche he was being, and ultimately decided to apologise to Ren the day before they were both to return to the academy. The aerosaur apologised for being a dickhead, to which Ren - having calmed down after bonding with Senator Alkii for the week - accepted, before Blitzo admitted that he thought Ren's battle moves were pretty cool. However, Ren just explained he'd ripped them off from his favourite manga Skoopimo Go! - which just so happened to be Blitzo's favourite manga as well!

Since then, Ren and Blitzo were on good terms, with their friendship becoming stronger as the two were thrust into many more wacky adventures in space. Blitzo also gradually wisened, becoming less cocky and slightly less annoying - but ALWAYS a massive weeb.

In fact, Blitzo had wisened so much that, 10 years later, he ended up running for Senator after the previous line retired. He surprisingly won, and would watch over the Final Light ark for 10 years, alongside his fellow Senators, including old friend Lu.
