My friends started a small campaign and I haven't played DnD since.....third edition so I had to reteach myself how it all works lol.

I decided to start up again with a bard, because I love bards and the entire concept of them. But I didn't just make a regular bard

Fluke is a drow that escaped the underdark and started his musical career out on the world with mild optimism, unfortunately death seemed to follow him everywhere and eventually warped his perception of reality into something very morose and grim. Because of this, he was refused by bard colleges for being too mopey so he eventually turned to the college of tragedy (fanmade bard college). Now Fluke skulks around tucked away taverns playing his sullen tunes to those who favor the melancholy. He picks up odd jobs and requests around towns to keep himself financed and busy, hoping whatever group he joins doesn't meet the same fate as his previous group.
